Oasis in Augusta Georgia. We are traveling in our motorhome going to New York to visit family. We were exhausted when we arrived in Augusta. We found this RV park wanting to stay one night. The rates are really good. This RV park is well managed and well maintained. The sites are limestone with a concrete area with a picnic table.
The landscaping is wonderfully maintained and the employees are nice and pleasant to talk to. The internet was ok but needs some fine tuning. The employee Michael was very accommodating and answers the phone from from 8am to 10pm. Office hours are 1 pm to 5 pm. They are currently adding more RV sites. We actually stayed 3 nights when we were only going to stay one. There are plenty of places eat and there is shopping galore.
It is a nice place to relax and get rid of the driving stress. I gave it 4 stars because there are no showers or restrooms available for guest. I would definitely stay there again. The sites are spacious and the interior roads are easy to navigate. Highly recommend this campground for your stay in Augusta Ga. We have stayed here at least four times and each stay has been relaxing and enjoyable.
The grounds are very well maintained and they are adding more sites at this time. The only draw back is if you want to stay here during the Masters make reservations early and the price goes up. Numerous stores and restaurants near buy as well as gas stations. Sites: 41 0 Reviews. Sites: 18 0 Reviews. Internal roads are fairly narrow but passable and are dirt, sites are grass, mostly level needed one leveling board and was a pull through, facilities worked well, no sewer and 30 amp on the over-night site, site was satellite friendly.
Staff owners were friendly, no park WiFi I could connect to. The park was quiet. They only have 1 over-night site so be sure to call ahead. We would stay here again. Stayed here during the Hurricane Matthew evacuation. Very friendly and helpful owner. Campground is not fancy but it is clean and convenient to town.

We would stay here again when in the area. Sites: 9 0 Reviews. This campground is basically all permanent residents and rules are not enforced.
There is stuff everywhere and looks like a city dump. The roads are very narrow and the guests park where ever they like. The resident manager lives on site and never saw him other than driving in or out of park. The sites are very close that you can't even extend your awnings.
To hook up the water you have to be on your knees as well as the electric.
There is also a lot of road noise. Only reason we stayed was there are not other better campgrounds in Aiken. We were here to help our daughter move. We have a 40ft fifth wheel and are in a pull thru site. The site is not level as the front of the site goes down a slope.
Don't waste your money on this one. This is a worker's park with some noise from the road.
We called for a reservation and were told our site. When we arrived we pulled into our site, set-up and then went to the office. Great for an overnight stop mainly because of price. We assume the PA site needs to be updated.
We used it as a 1 night stay on a Saturday night. Right on a busy 4 lane highway. A lot of permanent sites, fema trailers. A little TLC and it would be a lot more attractive. The view was beautiful but could not be enjoyed due to the ant infestation at our site. Our trailer was invaded. The bathhouse needs to be updated with more than one shower and really, really needs ventilation to remove the humid air. They need fans to pull out the hot air.
It was like being in a sauna when you used the bathhouse. This is not a campground we will be returning to.
Augusta Georgia Campgrounds
The campground host were fabulous though. This is the largest COE campground in Georgia and is very popular with the locals. Reserve your site carefully, as some sites have steep descents to the actual camping location.
Power and water is on the wrong side of your rig or trailer. Sites are small but well spaced. If you opt for a pull-through site be prepared to handle the steep descent and steep ascents from the camping spot.
Campground roads are paved, but descents and ascents from camping spots are loose stone. Difficult for tow vehicle tires to get a grip.

Because of this we will not return. Our site 28 was immaculate and well maintained. The restrooms were clean and the staff was friendly. I've camped at Petersburg 4 times and the experience has always been great. We have no idea how this park even got a 3 star rating.
Laundry facilities are supposed to be free, and we needed to do laundry. Laundry room is being renovated by the husband, it seems. Might take a while.
Not long-term, but permanent. Kids get off school bus and walk to their trailers. Many in disrepair. Did not feel safe walking our pup around the campground because one aggressive sounding dog almost burst through the door when we walked by.
